Why the move?

The decision was out of my hands.  The owners of the Chiropractic Clinic have decided that they are not renewing the lease on the beautiful Goswell Road clinic.  There are many reasons, but the landlords have increased the rent substantially. Whilst it is a beautiul old building.  It is a beautiful old building that takes a lot of energy to heat and maintain and the cost of running the clinic and studios went through the roof this winter.  These factors led the Directors of the Clinic to make the difficult decision that the building no longer met their needs and to move to somewhere a bit smaller for the short term.

We will all be very sad to leave the beautiful space of 178 Goswell Road, but we hope to make the new space as welcoming as the current location.

other than location,  what changes are there?

There are a few changes, that might take a bit of organising:

  • The big one is that we are moving into managed offices, so the reception you will come into is a shared one. There will be more information when I get it.
  • You’ll need to catch a lift (!) to the fifth floor, or take the stairs (Yes, my step count will go through the roof).  I will then meet you as there are security doors outside the lift.  We’ll then head to the new room, and the treatment will continue as normal, just in a different space.
  • If you need wheelchair access then please let us know when you book as the Building Reception will get the ramp out for you.  After that there is a lift and it is all wheelchair friendly.
  • The room is air conditioned!
  • Booking and payment will soon be online! But you can still speak to the clinic’s wonderful reception team on the same number 020 7490 4042
  • Sadly, there is not a space for me to teach yoga, so the in person classes will stop for the foreseeable future. I am hoping to find a location as soon as I can as I do love running them.
  • There will be a slight change to my clinic times. Essentially starting later on Mondays and earlier on Thursdays.

Yes, the building that the new clinic is in is in the Beech Street Tunnel.  I have cornily said that the clinic will become the light in the middle of the tunnel of your journey to greater wellbeing.

So that’s the latest news, so bear with me as I grieve the loss of 178 and find my way around the new place and all the changes that it brings.

Thanks

Tim
